What are Stout Santas?

Stout Santas resemble all of the Santas across the universe, delivering presents to every good little boy and girl. All have suffered the same fate...eating all of the cookies and milk left behind by the sweet children, and then got stuck in the chimney. There are 10,000 unique Stout Santas, with a combination of 250 traits. Will Stout Santa be able to escape the chimney and save Christmas Day??

How do I win prizes?

Each NFT is numbered 1-10,000, corresponding with the different identities in the Stout Santa collection. Each Stout Santa you hold counts for 1 entry into the drawings (If you mint 3 Stout Santas, you have 3 chance to win). Once the collection is 100% minted, a date will be chosen for the massive drawings (hopefully on December 25...it’s Santa’s favorite day:) ) On that day, we will hold a brief, live feed on our social media pages, where a random number will be selected. If you NFT number is identical to the corresponding number drawn, you win! The winner will have 1 week to contact us via social media to claim their prize. After that time period, the prize is forfeited and a new number will be drawn. We will be holding prizes throughout the year, so as long as you’re holding a Stout Santa, you can win!

Why are you donating to Make a Wish?

We believe that the Make a Wish Foundation is an incredible organization that helps fulfill the wishes of children with a critical illness. I’m sure we can all relate to the joy that comes on Christmas day from opening the present we wished so long to hold. Some of the kids may not be around much longer, so being able to turn their wish into reality will be a joyous occasion for all to experience.

What is an NFT? How do I purchase one?

NFT stands for "Non-fungible token," which means that it's a unique, digital item with blockchain-managed ownership that users can buy, own, and trade. A NFT's fundamental function is simply to be digital art, while some also grant you access to events, or tickets to exclusive rewards (like Stout Santas). Here is a walkthrough on how to purchase your first NFT.

1. Download the metamask.io extension for the Chrome browser or app on mobile. This will allow you to make purchases with Ethereum and can be found in the Chrome extensions tab. If you are on mobile, you must use the Metamask App Browser.
2. You can purchase Ethereum through Metamask Wallet using Wyre, or send ETH from a separate exchange like Coinbase.
3. Once you’re on the Stout Santas website, click on Connect at the top of the page, to connect your Metamask wallet with the Stout Santas website. Once joined, you will be able to purchase NFT’s in the mint section of our site. You will be prompted to sign your transaction, and there will be a separate fee, called a gas fee, that will be associated with your purchase.
4. Once you have made your purchase, your Stout Santas NFT will be viewable in your wallet as well as on OpenSea.
